My Review Of GDI The Best Way To Make Money Online

By Scott Cyrus

So you want to work from home and make some big money online huh? I've done it myself so let me tell you first, it's more possible then you think. I'm not saying it was easy, because it wasn't, but then again, business in life only pays you the work you put into it!

I've had success in affiliate marketing, I was only 17 years old when I made the GDI World Leaderboard. I am now 18 years old successfully running my own home business with what I think is the best way to make money online, the best affiliate program in the world, Global Domains International.

Of course you're not gonna want to join just any affiliate program. There's a lot of junk to choose from that asks for money up front, and some of them offer what you could possibly hardly call a product. GDI, offers a complete web page package, which is the most valuable thing you might if you would like an internet presence.

As I searched for a technique to make money online, I was hardly interested in something but the organization opportunity. Fortunately for me, I stumbled across a GDI proof of income video in my research a year ago. What ensued was the biggest blessing I could have asked for in my endeavors to make money online. My goals for financial freedom were well on there way.

With the proper guidance from a successful GDI team, it was only a matter of time before my name was on the leaderboard. I never doubted myself, although there were many struggles along the way. What it came down to, was my determination to succeed and the desire to change my life forever.

I know what it feels like to be lost in your research and trying to find a way to make some money. That's why I wrote this article, so that you may find your way fast. Even if you are not convinced, that's alright, just be careful out there. As I've said, there's a lot of junk out there, and a lot of people that don't care for anything but to make a quick buck off another person.

GDI has brought me to great success in my life. But it was faith that really pulled me through. I count my blessings always, and thank the Exalted one for guiding me to the video that changed my life forever. Thank you for reading.

Tough Lessons Regarding The Funding Of The Education System

By Amana Wright

The school system could be made to be highly profitable, says Bob Bowdon, however entirely at the expense of teachers and students. In his documentary "The Cartel," Bowdon, a New Jersey television news newsman, turns the camera on the massive corruption and misdirection that has led his state to spend more than any other on its students just with shoddy results. While $400,000 is exhausted per schoolroom, but reading proficiency is only 39% (and math at 40%), the crisis is unmistakable, which doesn't mean it's not controversial.

The two sides of this conflict meet head-on in interviews throughout Bowdon's film: there are the teachers union and school board members who have managed to set aside 90 cents of every taxpayer buck into everything but teachers' salaries -- while a variety of school administrators get paid upwards of $100,000. On the other slope are the supporters of a charter education system, private schools in which parents can use tax vouchers to pay tuition and shake off the public nightmare. In those disordered public schools, Bowdon points out, it's just about unimaginable to fire a teacher -- so even a mediocre one has a career for life.

"'The Cartel' examines lots of distinct aspects of public teaching, tenure, funding, patronage drops, corruption --meaning larceny -- vouchers and charter schools," says Bowdon. "And as such it kind of serves as a quick-moving primer on all of the blistering topics amongst the education-reform movement."

"The Cartel" first appeared on the festival circuit in summer 2009, appearing in theaters countrywide a year later. Hopefully it will get a boost, and not be overshadowed, by the more recently released documental "Waiting for Superman," by "An Inconvenient Truth" director Davis Guggenheim. Bowdon sees the two documentaries as taking dissimilar approaches to the similar problem, "The Cartel" by examining public policy and "Superman" centering on the human-interest aspects. "The two films attain interchangeable conclusions," Bowdon says.

It is positively analytical, couching its arguments in an appraisal of how the money is being spent, or misspent. He follows the money to extract conclusions around how dirty the Jersey school system is, but his film features moments of great emotion and grief. The weeping face of a young girl who learns she was not selected for a place at a charter school makes its own deep argument for the unsatisfying failure of a state's education system.

It's difficult to see a film about corruption in Jersey and not think of the mob, but it's also apparent that this is a national problem seen through a tight lens. A watcher anyplace in the country will acknowledge similar failings in their own school system, and may share Bowdon's frustration and zeal for a resolution. The one he seems to be most behind is the charter schools, which take the reins from the unions and give them back to the taxpayer. But he also makes it decipherable that those in power are going to be unwilling to give it up without a struggle.

Secrets Regarding The Collapsing Of The Education System

By Connie Herrera

The public school system could be made exceptionally profitable, although exclusively at the expense of things like teachers and students. In his education documentary "The Cartel," Bowdon, a TV news reporter in New Jersey, paints a reasonably ugly impression of the institutional putridness that has resulted in pretty much incredible wastes of taxpayer money. As $400,000 is spent per classroom, but reading proficiency is alone 39% (and math at 40%), the crisis is unmistakable, which doesn't indicate it's not controversial.

On the one side is the monumental Jersey teachers union and shadowy school officials, who guarantee that, as Bowdon points out in his movie, 90 cents of every tax dollar go for other expenses, including six figure incomes for school administrators and, in a upsetting example, a school board secretary who makes $180,000. The other cabal is the supporters of charter schools, the private schools that can shake off the authority of the public school system and would aid inner-city kids if their taxpayer money could be more cautiously used. In those broken public schools, Bowdon points out, it's almost unacceptable to fire a teacher -- so even a meager one has a trade for life.

"'The Cartel' examines lots of diverse aspects of public teaching, tenure, financing, support drops, corruption --meaning theft -- vouchers and charter schools," says Bowdon. "And as such it kind of serves as a swift-moving primer on all of the red-hot topics within the education-reform movement."

"The Cartel" first appeared on the festival circuit in summer 2009, appearing in theaters countrywide a year later. The film has started a lot of talk, which ought no doubt continue with the more-recent release of "An Inconvenient Truth" director Davis Guggenheim's own education expose, "Waiting for Superman." Bowdon sees the two documentaries as taking dissimilar approaches to the similar predicament, "The Cartel" by examining public policy and "Superman" focusing on the human-interest aspects. "The two films make parallel conclusions," Bowdon says.

The left-brained tactic means arguments that observe the economics -- money misspent, opportunities wasted. Though he calls it left-brained, still "The Cartel" reaches some heartbreaking moments of emotion. The weeping face of a youthful girl who learns she was not selected for a place at a charter school makes its own strong controversy for the unsatisfactory failure of a state's education system.

It's difficult to watch a film about corruption in Jersey and not think of the mob, but it's also unambiguous that this is a national crisis seen through a tight lens. A viewer anyplace in the country will discern similar failings in their own school system, and may share Bowdon's frustration and eagerness for a resolution. The one he seems to be most behind is the charter schools, which take the reins from the unions and give them back to the taxpayer. Nevertheless he also knows it'll be an upward struggle to regain control from those who've worked so intense to make education very profitable for the very few.

Secrets About The Corrupt Public School System

By Charlie Fernandez

The education method in America is working magnificently, says Bob Bowdon, however only for some -- and those few definitely aren't the students. In his documentary Bowdon, a New Jersey TV news newsman, turns the camera on the monumental corruption and misdirection that has led his state to expend more than any other on its students just with meager results. It's not troublesome for Bowdon to exemplify that something's atrociously incorrect with a state that pays $17,000 per student but can only wield a 39% reading proficiency rate -- that there's a crisis is undeniable, how to deal with it is separate question entirely.

On the one side is the massive Jersey teachers union and umbrageous school officials, who see to it that that, as Bowdon points out in his picture, 90 cents of every tax dollar go for other expenses, including six figure incomes for school administrators and, in a astonishing example, a school board secretary who makes $180,000. The other faction are the supporters of charter schools, the private schools that can evade the authority of the public school system and would aid inner-city kids if their taxpayer money could be more carefully used. One of Bowdon's principal criticisms is that a teacher, even a shoddy one, basically can't be fired -- which provides zero effort to do much genuine instruction.

"The documentary examines lots of out of the ordinary aspects of public education, tenure, backing, support drops, corruption --meaning theft -- vouchers and charter schools," says Bowdon. "And as such it kind of serves as a rapid-moving primer on all of the raging topics between the education-reform crusade."

"The movie first appeared on the festival circuit in summer 2009, appearing in theaters nationwide a year later. Hopefully it will get a rise, and not be overshadowed, by the more recently released docudrama "Waiting for Superman," by "An Inconvenient Truth" director Davis Guggenheim. Bowdon says the documentaries can be seen as companion pieces: his focusing on public policy and Guggenheim's taking the human-interest angle. "My picture is the left-brained version, more analytical," Bowdon says, "'Waiting for Superman' is more the right-brained treatment."

The left-brained position means arguments that watch the economics -- money misspent, opportunities wasted. But that isn't to say the film is without heart. Bowdon makes certain his eye is invariably on the people affected, in particular the inner-city students trapped in a damaged system. A girl's tears upon hearing that she wasn't selected to attend a charter school, that she's stuck in her public school, portray the failure of a system as well as Bowdon's charts and interviews.

It's difficult to see a film about corruption in Jersey and not think of the mob, but it's also unmistakable that this is a national problem seen through a tight lens. A watcher anyplace in the country will discern similar failings in their own school system, and may share Bowdon's frustration and eagerness for a resolution. Bowdon puts his faith in the charter schools, where the taxpayer has influence over the kind and quality of instruction. Nevertheless he also knows it'll be an upward struggle to recover control from those who've worked so hard to make education very profitable for the very few.

So, You Have To Book A Band

By Jimmy Gene

There is an event and you have to book a band. How do you go about doing this, you ask yourself. There are easy steps to take when doing this. All you have to do is read this! You will find that when you hire a live band for your wedding or party, you'll have a better time. Everyone will in fact, but you have to know how to do this. So, keep reading as we introduce you to some of the things to think about when you are looking for the perfect band.

One of the first tips is to see how much money you can afford to hire a band. This is what you feel you can afford. When you have this in mind, you will know where to begin. So, figure that out. There are some bands that charge by the hour. You might find some that charge just one set fee.

The next step is to choose on what kind of music. Do you like slow, romantic love songs, like you find in many country music albums? Or do you like upbeat, hyper, get-everyone-dancing music, such as pop or rock? You want to please every one, especially if it's for a wedding due to children and different tastes.

The third step is choosing location. Find a big space, a space with good acoustics and is spacious so bot your band and your audience don't feel crowded. Choosing a location may also limit to what bands you can choose from, because some bands may only perform in certain areas. It might even hinder your price a bit too, because it may include gas.

Now choose your date and time. If you give the band a last-minute date and time, they could book for that day before you get your chance. Make sure it agrees. Even work with the band to figure a good day to set up. The more time you give, the better the outcome. A good tip to follow is to book the band two to three months in advance. This gives you and the band time to figure out music selection and make proper arrangements, such as set up and tear down.

Next you'll want to choose a band. The first place to start is locally and through different websites that can give you recommendations. You might even want to refer to your friends on this one, especially those that are associated with members of bands and with the event. Choosing a band is difficult because there are some many choices. Maybe choose one you're more familiar with, so you are familiar with the music.

When you find the band that you want to book, you might have to put a certain amount down in order to reserve the date and time. Then, the rest of the rest money that would be due would be expected either before the event or on the day. Each band is different so make sure that you ask.

See, it's really simple isn't it? You might have been worried, but hopefully this has given you a starting point. Sure, you could go with a DJ, but trust us when we say that it's only better when you go about and get an actual band. Everyone will have a better time when you do see.

An Interesting Review Of The Comedy Series Drew Carey Show

By Billie Campbell

Seinfeld gets a lot of attention, as it well should, as having been one of the most innovative sitcoms of the nineties. However, The Drew Carey Show really made just as many important innovations in the television show format as Seinfeld, even if people mainly remember it as one of those shows you watch when there was nothing else on. Put it on your list next time you visit your movie download service and see what the show was really all about.

The show was really just meant as a vehicle to get Drew Carey's face out there back in the era where every comedian really just wanted to be a TV star, and it could have been just another sitcom with just another comedian starring, but they managed to really take it in a different direction, starting with the subject of the show.

It's not a family sitcom, it's a single guy sitcom, about a guy in his forties who is not happy with his life.

The show also made a lot of artistic strides as a sitcom, such as the "World Keeps Turning" intro, the live episodes and various other tricks they used to keep the show fresh.

The show left a lot of room open for exploration on the part of its writers, directors and performers. It wasn't formulaic, it let them get away with whatever they wanted to try, and the result was a really unique and fresh show.

The show was refreshing in that it focused not on a family, but on a single guy who's not all that attractive or in shape and hasn't risen to anything above mid-level department store management in his career. The show focuses on a man who seems to be perpetually on the verge of a mid-life crisis. He's around forty and hasn't really done anything with his life yet. It's really an interesting premise with a lot of room to explore different story ideas without always falling back on the "Son borrows the car without asking" story like so many family based sitcoms.

The show also feels refreshing in that it acknowledges that mom, dad and the kids are not, in fact, the only form a family can take, nor are mom, dad and the kids the only people in the US who matter. The show is, again, focused on single people, and the result is a show that really validates you no matter who you are in life and what you've accomplished so far.

And of course, Lewis and Oswald are two of the funniest sitcom characters of all time. It's always funny when a show that's already a comedy has comic relief characters.

Harry Potter's Story Comes To A Close With The Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Movie

By Kelsey G. Hamilton

Critics and moviegoers alike have raved about the movies based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter book series. Diehard Harry Potter readers and fans have come out in droves to watch their favorite literary characters come alive in theaters. The final tale in the series of seven books will be presented as a two part film, the first of which is scheduled to hit theaters November 19, 2010; the second comes out July 15, 2011. The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie is being put out by Warner Brothers studio in a normal 2D format as well as in 3D.

Harry, Ron, and Hermoine work together again in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie to fight Voldermort. However, as Voldemort has gained power, Harry Potter is hunted down and constantly in danger because of Voldemort's Death Eaters. Harry's only opportunity is to find the Horcruxes, the key to Voldemort's immortality, before he is captured. In the process, he finds out about the legend of the Deathly Hallows and the final adventure begins to take shape.

There were several reasons why the studio took the difficult decision to make the last Harry Potter book into a two part film. The sheer length of the book would make it very difficult to keep true to the author's story while still making a normal length movie. Besides that, film makers have explained that the highly emotional nature of the last chapter in this long series deserves careful attention to detail and time for the characters to end their own personal stores properly.

Efforts started on the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie in pre production on January 26, 2009. Leavesden Studios, where the previous six films were all shot, was again used and filming began there on February 19, 2009. According to the director, David Yates, hand held camera work has been used frequently in order to create a new feel.

Outdoor scenes were shot in Freshwater West, Swinley Forest, and downtown London. On the last day of filming, June 12, 2010, many crew members were moved to tears since it brought an end to the 10 year Harry Potter project.

2PM's Comeback To The Kpop World: I'll Be Back

By Simon Stawski

Last year, 2PM had quite possibly one of the biggest songs in the kpop world with their smash hit, "Heartbeat." Since then, they released "Without U" in early Spring, which had a good reception, and just made their comeback last week with their newest song "I'll Be Back." Unfortunately, the song has disappointed many for some of the following reasons:

1) The Terminator: supposedly, the movie "The Terminator" was an inspiration for this song. You can see its influence in the chorus, which sings "I'll Be Back," along with a metal hand that one of the members is wearing, and finally with the dance sequence at the end of the video which uses the song from the opening credits of "The Terminator." And that's it for the similarities between the two. 2PM's song is about love and a girl, so it's quite confusing why they would use the Terminator as their muse. There's no protecting of John Connor or shooting out kneecaps or running from the T2000. The Terminator had no place in this song and video, but was forced in, for some reason.

2) The Dance: what's very bizarre about this video is that the dance is awful. Absolutely awful. 2PM are some of the best dancers in all of Korea, yet the dance to this song is the running man. Sure, it's a little more complicated than just the running man: they change directions, and do the running man again. Wow! There's also a very bizarre sequence near the end of the video in which they start mule kicking and doing the running man at the same time. It's completely bizarre, and quite possibly the worst Kpop dance of the year.

3) The Makeup: for some reason, all of the members are wearing heavy, heavy makeup. We're not talking about a bit of eyeliner here and there. From the first second you see them in the video, you're amazed at how much makeup they're wearing. It's not subtle. It looks like the ugly friend you had in high school who caked on pounds of makeup.

Altogether, after watching this video many fans may be hoping for the 2PM of old, and remembering the good old days of "Again and Again" and "Heartbeat." Hopefully their next single and video will not be as disappointing.

By Drew Garnett

Piano lessons can be easy. Really. With the advancement of the Internet and the increase in users, people have discovered that taking piano courses online is a much better alternative to many of the other piano lessons options out there. Besided the lower price that online piano lessons bring with them, the advantage of not having to leave your house or even get dressed before you can take your piano lessons is certainely an appealing thought.

It's always a pain to have to drive all the way over to your music store for your lessons or to your private teacher's house. One of the biggest trouble for most people is the lack of time they have for hobbies such as piano lessons in their already busy schedule. It can be tough to find a time that works both for you and for your instructor. The stress of this can easily cause you to quit your piano lessons from lack of time. This is the beauty of online piano lessons, they are available 24 hours. Any time that works for you, you can just sit down and start learning. There's no stress, no driving, and most of all you now have made time for your hobby which means you'll stick with it for longer.

The great thing about online piano courses is that for less than the cost of a traditional private lesson, you can get unlimited access to the highest quality of piano lessons 24/7. The cost of an average private piano lesson is about $40 per hour which works out to be $2000 per year if all you took was one lesson a week. Many people are already on a tight budget, and adding this sum can certainely put unneccessary stress on their lives. Online piano lessons just make much more sense cost-wise.

I imagine the question in your mind is "How do online piano lessons work?" You simply download the piano course material from the internet to your own computer. In the piano course that I use, the lessons are organized into beginner, intermediate, and advanced books and all of the lessons are fully supported by audio and video files. The audio and video files are very convenient because you can play them as many times as you need to master a particular piano skill. In addition, there are several bonus software programs included that greatly enhance your ability to read music and play by ear.

Online piano lessons are definitely the way for me. With the ridiculously low cost it's just a no brainer to anyone who is interested in learning how to play the piano. The ease and convenience of it all make it so much more enjoyable for me. I don't have to worry about finding time in my busy schedule to try to fit in a lesson. I know that for me, the ability to take my lessons at any given time of the day makes me much more likely to stick with them for longer, and eventually become a better piano player because of it.

Sylvia - One Of The Best Ballets Ever

By Mark Walters

The mythology inspired ballet Sylvia, is a three-act ballet set to the music of French Composer Lo Delibes. Often considered to be one of Delibes's greatest musical works, this ballet made its debut in 1876 in Paris. The inspiration for the ballet's story is believed to be the 1573 pastoral play 'Aminta' by Italian poet Torquato Tasso. It premiered at the Palais Garnier in Paris on June 14th 1876 was unfortunately met with a poor reception and subsequent productions of the ballet were also largely unsuccessful.

It was the renowned dancer and choreographer Sir Frederick Ashton who resurrected the almost forgotten ballet in 1952. However Sylvia still did not receive critical acclaim it is thought largely down to it's complicated plot. Sir Frederick tried to give the ballet more popular appeal reducing it to a one-act piece but Sylvia could still not capture the publics' heart and Ashton eventually gave up on it in 1965. Sir Frederick believed in Sylvia though and had expressed a desire to rework it once again into a three-act ballet. This was picked up on by one of his former students, Christopher Newton, who rewrote Sylvia for the 21st Century audience and a three-act version close to Sir Frederick's vision appeared on stage in 2001.

Sylvia has a pastoral theme and this is reflected in the ballet's opening act that features a minor cast of nymphs, dryads, fauns and goats. The main characters are of course the ballet's huntress protagonist Sylvia and Aminta, a young shepherd boy who is in love with Sylvia. The God of love Eros and Goddess of hunting Diana also feature along with the hunter Orion who appears as the villain in the story.

A Sacred wood is the title of the first act of Sylvia and the ballet begins with a ritualistic scene featuring the forest creatures and nymphs dancing for the God Eros. Both Aminta and Sylvia stumble upon the scene and while Aminta remains hidden Sylvia and her hunt attendants make themselves known and mock Eros. Sylvia shoots an arrow at the hidden Aminta, not realizing it is her ardent suitor, but injures both Eros and Aminta with her arrow. The malevolent force in the play is Orion who is also in love with Sylvia and he has been watching the whole scene unfold and he uses the ensuing confusion as an opportunity to kidnap Sylvia.

Act two is called Orion's Island Cave and this secret location is where we find Orion and the kidnapped Sylvia. Orion tries to appease Sylvia with wine and jewels but she will not be swayed and is distraught at the thought of the wounded Aminta. Sylvia cunningly proceeds to get Orion drunk and invokes the God Eros to help her. Eros appears to Sylvia with a vision of Aminta recovered and waiting for her to return. Eros and Sylvia then leave for the Goddess Diana's temple where Aminta is waiting for Sylvia.

The third act is called The Sea Coast Near The Temple Of Diana and this is where Aminta and Sylvia are reunited. However Orion is in pursuit and also arrives at the temple. Orion and Aminta fight and in the confusion Orion tries to enter Diana's shrine where Sylvia is hiding. This act enrages Diana who refuses to give Sylvia and Aminta congress. All is saved by Eros who sends a vision to Diana that reminds her of her own young love for a shepherd Endymion. This softens her heart and Aminta and Sylvia are able to come together with the blessing of the Gods.

After 30 Years, The Adventure Of Tron Is Finally Continued By Tron Legacy

By Selene R. Singleton

Tron stunned moviegoers in 1982 when it was originally released, and many people have been patiently waiting for a sequel; their patience will soon pay off as Tron Legacy is about to hit theaters. There were many unfounded rumors floating around about a Tron sequel during the 90's. With time it was shown that the many rumors about a sequel were false. That was until the 2008 San Francisco Comic-Con when Disney officials at long last confirmed that the studio was seriously working on the second installment.

The central character of Tron Legacy is Sam Flynn whose father Kevin Flynn was the star character in Tron. Sam is trying to understand his father's disappearance when he inadvertently enters the virtual world where his father was trapped.

The first official report of the Tron Legacy project released to the press was that Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal were hired by Disney to write the film back in January 2005. Concerned fans were relieved to see that Disney had not stopped work on Tron Legacy when they saw a trailer at the 2008 Comic-Con. Then, in 2009 at Comic Con, Disney announced the project's official title, Tron Legacy, to the audience. Film makers said the name correlates to the theme of a son looking for his father.

Tron Legacy features one of the fans' favorite elements of the first film, the Light Cycle; they have gotten a total makeover for this new movie. Daniel Simon has worked to design them, as well as a two seat vehicle called the Light Runner. Disney even made life size Light Cycles as part of its marketing scheme and showed them off at the Fan Expo in Toronto in 2009.

Shooting for Tron Legacy kicked off in April 2009 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Stage shots were done exclusively at the Canadian Motion Picture Park. All filming was done in 3D format, to the point that even the film's teasers have been prepared in 3D. A score for the movie including 24 different tracks was put together by Daft Punk. Tron Legacy will be shown on December 17, 2010 in the US and Canada.

Some Key Points About Movie Downloading From The Web

By Doreen Giles

It is always fun to curl up on the sofa and watch a movie or to go to the movie theater. Many of us regularly rent or buy movies from stores and off the Internet. However, this can take up time, since you have to go to the store or wait for the movie to arrive in the mail. Movie downloads, on the other hand, allow you to access films from wherever there is an Internet connection.

Downloading has been going on for a really long time, but not everyone thinks that it is a good idea to download a film. This is because there are legal downloading sites and illegal ones. Some think that when a film is illegally downloaded that it amounts to a loss of a sale, which means less cash for the industry. However, others says that this is not true and that downloading is a good thing because it is a method of marketing.

It is possible to download films easily today because of the increases in speed of Internet connections. The increase in the number of services and people who subscribe to those services has also helped drive the technology forward.

You can download movies illegally and legally. However, if you download them illegally and you are caught, you will get in quite a bit of trouble, which can include a hefty fine as well as jail time.

Many people get their movies by using a computer application called a download client. These can be found easily on the Web and are free to use. However, most of these connect you to movies illegally, since the movies are being provided by regular people and not distributors who are allowed to sell the films.

A legal way to get movies is to search the Web for services that allow you to watch movies. Most of these services require you to pay money. When you download the movies, you most likely will not be able to keep it on your computer forever, if at all. Most likely, you will be given permission to watch the film within your Web browser for a limited period of time.

In order to sign up for a movie watching service, you have to give the company some very specific details about yourself. They may ask you to provide your birth date, so they can be sure that you are allowed to watch all the movies that are available. You will also have provide your address, a credit or debit card, a contact number, your email, and your full name.

Using a movie streaming service is not difficult. Once you make your account, all you have to do is find the movies that you feel like watching. The movie library is very easy to search, since you can look for films by title, names of actors, and the director. When you find a film you like, you add it to your cart and then you can watch it later. However, with some services, as soon as you find the movie, you can watch it within that screen.

Movie downloads are very easy to find now, but you need to take care and make sure that the movies you get are legal.

How Movies Can Impressively Augment Your Life

By Jessica J. Janeson

Recently, there has been a new movie theater built near my house. They have been working on it for quite a while. And I've been looking forward to it's completion with great expectation. There aren't many things I enjoy as much as a good movie. Because this new theater is only a five minute walk from my apartment, I can watch movies whenever I want.

There is something about watching a movie that most people find particularly fascinating. It takes you away from the normal humdrum existence of boring everyday life and transports you to a wonderful world beyond anything you've ever imagined. Movies have been around for a long time, and as long as they've been making them, people have enjoyed them.

Of course, we haven't always been able to watch movies. Before movies, and even before books, people would simply tell stories. Back in the old days, every village would have it's resident story teller, that would be responsible for keeping track of the village history through the telling and retelling of stories.

If you look at many different stories from different cultures, and even from different times, you'll notice something really amazing. A lot of these stories have the same basic overall structure to them. They are usually centered around a character that starts of like a normal person, but has to go through a significant change. In the course of the story, the main character usually makes new friends, and learns how to defeat a new enemy.

If you study stories and mythology from around the world, you'll find this structure fairly consistent with all the stories told by all cultures around the world. Joseph Campbell, in his book "The Hero's Journey" documented this quite extensively.

Whether you are studying ancient mythology, or simply spending an afternoon at your local movie theater, never underestimate the power of the movie to entertain and give you guidance on some of life's most difficult challenges.

How Does A 3D Film Look So Real?

By Monique K. Abbott

The 3D film market has grown quite a bit in the past few years, and what was once a rare specialty is now commonly seen in many theaters. Although the idea of 3D films has been around since the 1950's, it was not until very recently that technology has truly caught up with the imagination of film makers and producers who try to create a visually immersing world for their audiences. By using special filming and presentation techniques and equipment, film makers are able to trick your eye into thinking that a plain movie screen is actually projecting three dimensional images when you watch a 3D film.

Humans see using stereoscopic vision, combining images taken in from both our eyes to create one total picture, and this is exactly what a 3D film aims to do. Two side by side lenses are used in cameras when filming a 3D movie so that they can capture images similar to the way your eyes do. Movies created with computer technology, like Avatar, can also be produced in the same way to create a stereoscopic film. When you watch a 3D movie, you are actually looking at both of the images captured by each camera lens at once; wearing special 3D glasses is what allows you to process both images at the same time.

Many people are familiar with the first 3D glasses that you had to wear to see a 3D film; one side was red, one side was blue. These glasses work because the two images combined to create a stereoscopic film were projected through a red light filter and a blue light filter, which can combine when you wear the 3D glasses. The limitations caused by this system urged film makers to seek out better technology.

Vibrating light waves moving on one plane, called polarized light, is how we watch 3D movies today. Though you only see one image, there are actually two projectors sending out one vertically and one horizontally polarized image during the 3D film.

Your 3D glasses prevent one type of light wave from entering each eye so that your left eye sees only horizontal waves and your right only sees the vertical ones. The resulting optical illusion makes your brain process two images as just one but also creates the realistic depth that audiences love so much about modern 3D movies.

Everyone Can Enjoy The Movie The Goonies

By Kristen Ward

Goonies for life! If you were a child of the eighties, you certainly remember this classic. If you haven't seen it yet, think Stand By Me meets Indiana Jones meets Pirates of the Caribbean. The end result is a thrilling, funny, exciting, and really fun adventure flick that entertains everybody of every age no matter who you are. If it's been awhile, put it on your movie downloads queue and relive the eighties with one of the all time great family adventure films.

The movie focuses on Mikey Walsh and his band of "Goonies", kids from the docks area of Astoria, Oregon. The kids are sort of the outcasts, the rejects, the ne'er do wells of the town, who have a long on-going rivalry with the rich kids. This rivalry comes to a head when the local rich guys plan to foreclose on the neighborhood and turn it into a golf course.

So, the Goonies have to go get some buried treasure to save their neighborhood. They find a treasure map in dad's attic, they go to a restaurant on the edge of town where it turns out there are some Italian gangsters known as the Fratellis hiding out, and keeping their little brother, Sloth, a gigantic, deformed monster with a heart of gold chained up to a chair watching black and white TV all day. So the kids have to somehow get into the caves under the restaurant and find the treasure without getting the Fratellis' attention and...

Does the plot sound complicated? It actually isn't, it's just really fast paced. Don't worry, you don't have to keep all of this in mind. From moment to moment, all the booby traps, gangsters and grown ups are really doing is giving the Goonies something to run away from while they bond as friends and seek out the treasure to save their neighborhood.

It's really just a whole lot of fun. It inspires you with a sense of adventure, like this stuff can happen in real life. While it's not likely that it WILL happen, the movie is at least rooted enough in reality that it doesn't get into the supernatural or anything like that, so it could, technically, happen in real life, no matter how implausible and unlikely that might be.

When the film came out, it was considered to be a little TOO fast paced, with booby traps and swordfights breaking out at the drop of a hat. However, when compared to the manic pace of most modern children's films, The Goonies is downright laid back.

But in any event, it's one of the all time great eighties flicks, as it well should be, having been produced by Spielberg and directed by Richard Donner. The style, the fashion, the music, it all adds up to a movie that couldn't have been made in any other decade.

However you look at it, the movie's a classic. It's sort of like Indiana Jones with kids in the lead. If you have fond memories of the film from your childhood, give it another watch, and keep it on your hard drive to share with your own kids one of these days.

Movie Review: First Blood - Entirely Surprising Action Movie

By Jessica J. Janeson

We all love a good story about an underdog, who is wronged, and fights back in a way that makes the little guy sit up and cheer. Especially if the underdog is an out of his luck character whose only redeeming quality is his resourcefulness and his adherence to his principles, principles we all wish we had. "First Blood" is such a movie.

Our allegory kicks off with a vagrant, a veteran of the Vietnam resistance traveling into a small town. On the outside of town, he is met with some police force who tell him that his kind is not acceptable in this city. Drifters are not allowable, as they are perceived as vermin who will drain the cities resources without giving anything back. After giving him the word of warning, the police leave him, and think that is that.

Nevertheless, our central character, John Rambo, shows up yet again in town, and is arrested. He gets booked, and thrown into the county lockup. But he doesn't imply any harm, and he hasn't yet broken any laws. He just wanted something to eat, and a friendly place to sleep. He may seem a little slow, but we feel for him, as the police appear to be mistreating him.

Then there is a campaign, and the police chief steps over the line. And vaguely injures this ostensibly big brute. Drawing opening blood, the sheriff has opened a can of worms he will before long regret, likely for the rest of his life. Because John Rambo is a vastly taught eradicator, and well equipped to deal with any kind of opposition, and come out on top.

This begins the center of the movie. One lone man, John Rambo, is pushed into a corner, and he responds with the only way he knows how. He retreats into the adjacent hills, and speedily finds himself in his element. Taught to outlive, to pursue, and to kill. The police immediately know that they have their hands full, and bring in as many officers as they can.

Then an army Colonel shows up, and claims that he was Rambo's commanding officer during the Vietnam hostilities. The police erroneously consider he is there to look after his charge from the police. But they have it the other way around. Rambo's CO is there to bring him back before he does irretrievable harm to the entire police force. He is there to save the law from Rambo, not the other way around. We go after John Rambo through the wasteland, and watch him battle his own psychological demons in one rare picture that has created one of he most well known action heroes of our time. If you haven't seen this movie, you must, as it is an example of unbelievable filmmaking, acting, and directing.

A Critical Review Of The Movie A Clockwork Orange

By Mara Orr

Some movies are about love and romance, others are about heartbreak over failure with regards to success, A Clockwork Orange is about neither. For this film focuses on the violent acts of a futuristic gang led by a lad that goes by the name of Alex and his options later, once his actions became known. In addition, these crimes are brutally violent, especially for such a long running film.

For, as when one watches the colorful criminality, racist and sexist themes within the movie, one must decide for oneself how one feels about the appropriate penalties such a person deserves, both on screen and off. For, sadly the events of this movie play out every day around the planet due to the rise in gang activity in many cities around the world. Therefore, while this movie portrays a slightly futuristic aspect with regards to such brutal criminal gangs, similar crimes remain on the rise today.

In fact, some have questioned whether this film had an impact on the development or popularity of gangs. However, as gangs have been around for much longer than the initiation of this film into society, the answer to that question is most likely, no. However, that does not mean individuals watching the movie may not repeat similar actions if associated in such behaviour. To this end, while it is a long film, it is also a rather violent one which some individuals have trouble tolerating. Therefore, one may want to be sure one can handle the type of images often displayed during such subject matter.

However, if one follows the plot and stays with the movie, one can see a dramatic reversal in realities take place. In many cases, such incidents relate to the ideology behind Karma and the events we go through in life. These include events related to both past lives and present conditions. So, before watching this film, one may want to know there are themes of rape, murder, nudity, sexism and other violent imaging involved in the criminal acts which are blatant and visible to anyone watching. In addition, if one is watching the newest release which has been digitally enhanced, one may also want to realize that these graphic images come to life with better believability as well as color.

Still, this is one movie that most individuals must analyze for oneself with regards as to whether the main character Alex is a villain or victim. This is because while crimes he committed were horrendous, others have also intervened with his destiny by placing him in an experimental program, somewhat beyond his control. However, he did have a choice as to whether to serve the fourteen years jail time, or accept treatment, which most anyone would do if it means escaping jail to pay the price for crimes one has committed. Therefore, the answer to this question becomes more complicated over time and one each individual must answer for oneself.

With regards to Karma, the writer plays a very active role in defining how gangs can be a drawback to life. The writer also portrays a good example of how only caring about lust and money can drive one insane. In addition, by swirling toward the end of the movie by providing characters from the beginning, one is drawn to the conclusion that the current experiences Alex is going through are all based in Karma. Regardless, the question remains as to whether such imprisonment, torture and treatment were good or bad for Alex in the future.

Also, while watching the film, individuals often see other ways in which Karma can work in ones life, based on both the actions Alex takes and the movie overall. Whether such Karma is related to blessings provided or lessons learned, is something each individual must decide for oneself. To this end, for those who believe in Karma, one must walk a very careful path with regards to involvement with others who may or may not also believe in such an ideology in order to remain on the path to enlightenment and avoid paying Karmic debt in the future.

Therefore, while A Clockwork Orange is a rather brutally violent film, one can learn a great deal about both karma and gangs with regards to universal law. Because whether or not one believes in such ideology, most individuals believe in Justice, and when it comes right down to it, are not one and the two basically the same? However, Karma can also be a wonderful experience and something to celebrate in life if one has lived as good and honest a life as possible based on such a belief system. To this end, the movie does a great job of communicating such to a wide audience which may be effected either positively or negatively by such a film, depending upon life experience.

Welcome To Your New IPod Touch 8gb

By Anna Viking

So you've decided to buy an iPod Touch 8gb? Smart move. This product has been enjoying rave reviews around the globe. In true Apple technology style, it is once again forcing its competitors to lift their game with a new release that is as stylish as it is functional. By offering serious improvements on earlier models, Apple is ensuring another huge success story worldwide.

What hits you first when you open the box, is the gorgeous styling. Leaving behind their traditional signature line of white plastic products, Apple have introduced a contemporary and smart new design, featuring and slimline, slick body which is all black glass and shiny metal. It looks fabulous. The product also comes with up-to-the-minute earbud headphones, a very good syncing/charging cable and a wee touch-sized dock adapter if you want to connect to iPod speakers.

The iPod touch 8gb is easy to set up, but be aware that there are a number of new virtual buttons and settings to learn and its worth taking the time to do so. You'll need to connect the iPod touch to your computer to get it all set up correctly up. A priority will be to connect it to iTunes and get whatever music and videos you want transferred over.

You definitely need the latest version of iTunes installed. Music can then be downloaded in several ways through iTunes. Don't forget, if you have any photos on your computer, you can bring them into the iPod touch by telling iTunes which photos to synchronize. They'll look gorgeous - you'll love having them so close.

The next most exciting feature is the the video section. Select available videos in the same way you scroll through songs: with your finger. Everything is controlled through a light touch. How's video quality? It surpassed my expectations significantly. It's excellent.

If I had a gripe about the Ipod Touch 8gb, it would only be that here is no memory card slot to add extra gigs of storage. Other than that, I'm completely sold. Its gorgeous, very easy to use, has a huge 3.5" LCD screen and most importantly, the sound quality is simply superb. Anybody lucky enough to get one for Christmas will be purring.

A Concise Review Of The Movie Fresh

By Fannie Olson

Boaz Yakin is typically seen as a work-for-hire writer and director. It's not his fault, he's just a good writer with bills to pay, so he takes a lot of sub-par studio projects that don't really offer him anything interesting to do in the script. So it's weird that a movie like Fresh comes from someone with a track record for mediocrity, but Fresh really is one of the all time must see movie downloads.

Well, before making Fresh, he went into a brief exile, stating that he would not return to film making until he had something to say. And... He lived up to that promise. Fresh is a powerful statement.

The film follows a young boy working as a drug mule for various mid-level dealers around the city. He makes anywhere from twenty to fifty bucks a run, and he's been storing that money in a coffee can by the railroad tracks. The money really adds up when you save it, and Fresh is saving it. For what? We won't say. Save to say that the way the movie plays out is really something.

Each week, Fresh spends one afternoon playing chess with his father who offers him guidance and a moment to reflect upon what's going on in his life. These are sort of the Greek chorus scenes of the film, allowing both Fresh and the audience to consider what has happened before and where the movie is going to go from here. The chess also serves as a metaphor for what Fresh is doing while on the clock.

Think of it as Fistful of Dollars set in the ghetto. When a girl Fresh has a crush on, as well as a childhood friend, are murdered in a random shooting by one of the drug dealers he works for, Fresh hatches a plan to take revenge on all of the pushers and scumbags he deals with on a daily basis, freeing himself and his family from the clutches of the drug dealers.

The plan is complex, but easy to understand after you see the whole thing play out. Fresh's ingenuity is incredible, the way he plays one side against the other, all the while avoiding suspicion simply by virtue of being a child. They never suspect that they've been outwitted by a ten year old. So the question is how long he can keep the facade going, how long it takes to make everything work and free himself of these scumbag's control over his life once and for all.

The tightrope he walks to work the scheme is suspenseful, dangerous, frightening, knowing that at any moment, they could catch on to him and put him under the ground.

The film is truly one of a kind. Clockers runs in a somewhat similar vein, but Fresh is built around a truly unique concept. The movie takes a young child, around ten years old, and pits him against ruthless, violent, sociopath criminals. It's not a children's movie, even though the hero is a child. It is a film about the power of morality and righteousness over compromised morality and cruelty, and truly a fascinating thriller.

The Basic Guide To 3D Animation Software

By Cody Landon

In this modern era anyone that enjoys art and loves cartoons will most likely be intrigued with animation and find computer animation fascinating. Not a long very ago when animation were came alive with 2D animation then moved on into 3D.

3D animation has now become the way of the animation world. This is the fact that It would never have evolved to this point without the success of the 2D. Some animation gurus still think that 3D animation is still dependant on the skills required for 2D. that?s why, where you hear someone say the 2D animation is mundane then does not give it a second thought.

Most of us must not be forgotten that animation is not just restricted to cartoon characters. We can say that to put it simply any moving image that has been made to do so by the computer is computer animation and the program need to run this animation is called 3D animation software.

While describing 3D animation software it is important that computer animation is just another method of creating animation by way of automation or computer technology. Although the principals are the same as when they are done by hand, it is just the computer who is able to do much of the preparation work and rendering of the finished version. At the end it duplicates the stop motion techniques of 3D and framing by 2D.

An interesting thing about this method is that by using the computer for animation is a systematic process. First of all to begin with, the object is built on the computer monitor. In the net step we have 3D figures to have a virtual skeleton. In a 3D software like Flash we can get the major movements such as for the eyes, mouth or clothing for example then the computer will create an action called tweening or morphing.

When dealing with 3D animations software it is important to remember that all of the same fundamentals and basics of animation are utilized. Mostly we can see with 3D animation, the majority of the work is done through the computer 3D animation software. But as we know computer or any computer software can?t work without instructions, and that is where the 3D animator's job comes in. Regardless of the importance of 3D animation software it is important that the fundamentals keen computer skills and a thorough knowledge of the capabilities of the software are a necessity.

Train Games For Kids

By Mark Van Diggelen

Kids are always keen to have toys like bikes, cars and trains and that's the reason why parents used to spend heavy amounts for the play of the children. Different train games for kids have been produced by keeping this reason and the eagerness of the children into contemplation and now, several video playoffs are available on DVDs and internet so that children can satisfy their eagerness.

Most of the popular train games for kids are multi player. It means you need to have a competitor to play the game. These popular games involve Ticket to Ride, Steam, Union Pacific, Volldampf, Stephenson's Rocket, TransEuropa, Freight Train, Chicago Express, and Metro. All of them are developed by renowned companies and demand to get purchased before playing. But they are not expensive enough to be out of reach and can be bought easily online.

However, there are other interesting train games for kids such as Railroad Tycoon, Train Robber, Railroad and the Polar that are rated as the most widely played online free games and the player can play them with just simple click. Moreover, the child can download them on the computer to play in offline mode.

Through the inventive notions, the developers have given the versatility to a simple train play to make it more useful for the mental upbringing of the child. When a kid used to play with a train in which he has to face obstacles and find the ways to get out from a mazy way, his sense of coping with certain conditions increases. For instance, if the kids decide to play "steam", each player has to deliver the commodities to some destination.

Search Hard For A Good Movie Download Site To Join

By Lenore Cummings

Going for movie downloads is a more convenient way of enjoying blockbusters nowadays. Because of the internet, now you got other means of getting titles aside from renting or purchasing DVD copies. Through this, you need not step out of the house and drive elsewhere. But before signing up for a site providing this convenience, there are some thing you need to take note of.

One website may have a different mode of payment from another. Although it's not unlikely that a particular site will offer several modes of payment. When picking the kind of payment, consider the frequency of your movie watching. Can you afford to watch a movie daily? Or perhaps once or two movies weekly?

Some sites will require you to pay a fixed rate, either per month or per year. However, there are those where you pay only for each title that you buy and download. Before getting a subscription, weigh the pros and cons. Will it be cheaper than actually renting a movie or buying a DVD? Will you be able to take full advantage of the payment you will make?

The number of titles which you can purchase from a site will depend on how many film outfits they work with. Some may have very few mainstream titles, but more independent flicks. But if the website works with many major outfits at the same time, you can be assured of the variety of films to choose from.

To ensure that your downloads will not strain your eyes, check the quality of available movies. There are a couple of ways to do that. First, note the size of the screen resolution. This is usually done in pixels. Some common examples are: 320 x 240 pixels, 640 x 480 pixels, 1024 x 768 pixels, etc.

Then there's also the bitrate which you should also note. Usually, it's expressed in bps - that stands for bits per second. But sometimes it's in kbps - kilobits per second. If everything is beginning to look too technical now, fret not. Just remember: for both screen resolutions and bitrates, the higher their numbers, the better quality they are. It's that simple.

Check how many current members a webpage has. For sure it will tell something about the quality of services offered by the site. Of course movie buffs will flock to websites that will satisfy their needs, more than just joining in based on popularity. Besides, it's what makes these sites popular in the first place: good service.

Security is another issue you need to be wary of. And by security, it means both on the files you download and online payment methods. Some files you get online may come with adwares, trojans, malwares, etc. These can harm your computer. But most legal sites are free of such threats. Payment through credit card or online banking must be guaranteed secured as well by the site.

Last but not the least, check the flexibility given by the website regarding your movie downloads. Will you be able to transfer and watch your purchase on another gadget? Will you be allowed to burn them on a DVD so you can free some space on your hard drive? Some websites will give you leeway, while others may not.
